SeaWeb selects Bill DiMento as a Finalist for the 2015 Seafood Champion Awards

SeaWeb announced today that Bill DiMento has been selected as a Finalist for the 2015 Seafood Champion Awards in the Leadership Category.

Under Bill DiMento's leadership, High Liner Foods continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainable practices by increasing the amount of products that are certified sustainable and reducing packaging and food waste, as well as lowering energy and water usage across the company.

This years’ nominations were exceptional, both for the range of activities being undertaken to promote sustainable seafood, and for the dedication these ocean leaders are demonstrating. Nominations were solicited for four categories: Leadership, Innovation, Vision, and Advocacy.  SeaWeb received over 100 nominations and four finalists were selected in each category following an extensive review of submissions by a panel of distinguished judges.
